Job summary

Vista Springs Trillium Village Grand Estate is seeking a dependable maintenance technician to perform repairs, help with room turns, support remodeling, and ensure a clean, safe environment for staff and residents. You will be part of a disciplined team focused on quality, timeliness, and attention to detail.

The role requires hands‑on work, strong work ethic, and the ability to follow directions while maintaining high standards in a community‑driven setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of maintenance experience in facilities preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and painting.

Responsibilities

• Paint and refresh interior spaces to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Shampoo carpets and strip/wax floors in common areas.
• Repair and replace items as needed and assist with room moves.
• Assist with light electrical tasks and general facility support.
• Support remodeling, daily tasks, wiring and lighting as needed.

Vista Springs Trillium Village Grand Estate is looking for a dependable, productive, hands‑on technician who can execute repairs, complete assignments, assist with room turns, support remodeling and cosmetic refresh work, respond to daily needs, and take direction well. Working conditions:

Little travel required

Purpose:

Assist in providing a safe, clean, comfortable, well groomed facility environment for the staff, residents and family members.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Paint
• Shampoo carpet
• Strip and wax floors in common areas
• Clean and change lights as needed
• Repair and replace items.
• Room Moves
• Assist with Fire Drills
• Lawn Work
• Small Remodeling Jobs
• Light Electrical
• General Facility Support

Non‑Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with resident needs
• Participate in special facility functions.

Educational Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Certificates, licenses, registrations

Driver’s License

Work Experience

One year working experience in the maintenance field and knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting experience a must.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with residents, staff, customers on a one‑on‑one basis or in a group setting. Must be able to speak, read and write using Basic English skills.

Physical Demands

Lift 50-75 lbs. required to perform all aspects of the job on a day‑to‑day basis. Possibly operating dangerous equipment. Physical work my include moving furniture and equipment, shoveling, raking, painting, lifting, climbing, walking, etc. Must be able to tolerate inclement weather.

Additional Information

The ability to be flexible for on call emergencies, multi-task, ability to be a team player at all times, good problem solving skills and complete projects on a timely basis.
