Job summary

SupportWorks Housing in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time maintenance assistant to help fix and maintain safe housing for neighbors in need. You will support experienced technicians, clean common areas, turn over units, and contribute to preventative maintenance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year in maintenance or grounds, a valid VA driver's license, reliable transportation, and a positive, learnable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced maintenance technicians.
• Clean and maintain common areas and grounds.
• Turn over units (cleaning, painting, minor repairs).
• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Support inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Help ensure building safety systems are functioning properly.
