Proton Cancer Treatment Centers in Nashville, TN is seeking a Level I Maintenance Service Engineer/Operator to ensure optimal operation of proton therapy equipment. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and document servicing activities with on-the-job training.
Expect shift work and occasional weekends to support clinic hours. Responsibilities include maintenance of cyclotron, gantry, PPU and imaging devices, QA testing, safety adherence, and participation in upgrades.
As a Level I Maintenance Service Engineer/Operator at Proton Cancer Treatment Centers you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of complex medical equipment used in the treatment of cancer patients. You will be on the front line of action at the Cancer Treatment Center to ensure uninterrupted patient care during clinic hours. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving equipment failures, providing technical support, conducting preventative maintenance, and documenting servicing activities. It is expected that you will learn the necessary skills and knowledge through on-the-job training, some classroom training, and self-directed study of engineering designs and work instructions. You will be scheduled for shift work and occasional weekends as needed.
