Pro-Active Engineering is growing and adding a Maintenance and Facilities Manager position. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and upkeep of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

The manager will manage preventive maintenance schedules, address emergency repairs, and keep accurate records of equipment and activities. They will supervise and train maintenance staff, coordinate with vendors, and lead safety initiatives. Additionally, they will plan asset replacements, manage space, and oversee building repairs or renovations.

Essential Functions

1. Facility Management: Oversee daily operations of all facility systems, ensure compliance, manage space planning, repairs, and renovations, and maintain a professional, clean, and functional environment.
2. Maintenance and Asset Management: Lead maintenance teams, troubleshoot equipment issues, develop preventive maintenance schedules, respond to emergency requests, oversee vendor work, maintain records, and prepare operational reports. Manage asset replacement and inventory.
3. Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and evaluate maintenance staff, ensuring they have necessary tools and skills, and provide coaching or corrective actions as needed.
