Job summary

Imperial Healthcare is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Assistant to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in a high-quality care setting. The role runs on a FullTime 8AM-5PM shift, tackling plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks and prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include responding to requests, inspecting HVAC and lighting, coordinating room setups, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or facility experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders promptly.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC, lighting, and safety systems.
• Assist with room setups, furniture moves, and facility projects.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs.
• Follow OSHA, safety, and infection control guidelines.
