Job summary

Dunkin' & Retail Centers in southern Maine is seeking an energetic Repairs & Maintenance Technician to handle ongoing upkeep of buildings, equipment, and grounds. You will perform preventative maintenance, deep cleaning, painting, and simple repairs.

The role requires reliable communication with owner and managers, a driver’s license, and the ability to work across multiple locations within about 45 minutes of Biddeford. The pay is $20 per hour with potential overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment and appliances.
• Deep clean interiors and exteriors, including power washing.
• Paint interiors and touch up exteriors; replace tiles and grout as needed.
• Handle groundskeeping and light landscaping; assist with seasonal tasks.
• Coordinate with owner, management and subcontractors; provide daily updates via phone and email.

Repairs & Maintenance Technician

Dunkin' locations in Southern Maine and a few bordering New Hampshire towns are seeking an energetic and self-motivated maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and has proven proficiency in equipment preventative maintenance, deep cleaning and janitorial work, painting, and small repairs such as tile work and grouting. Some basic carpentry and plumbing experience is a plus.

Under direction, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of our buildings, equipment, facilities, and grounds. Excellent communication skills are essential, as this position involves coordinating on a regular basis with the owner, management, and subcontractors. Daily updates via phone and email will be required.

Equipment Maintenance

• Clean and perform preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment, refrigerators, toasters, coffee equipment, and ovens
• Change water filters on a regular schedule
• Follow a preventative maintenance (PM) winterization schedule

Cleaning & Janitorial

• Deep clean the interior of the restaurants
• Hose down and squeegee interior spaces
• Power wash buildings and clean parking lots and exteriors
• Keep all locations clean, orderly, and presentable

Painting & Small Repairs

• Paint building interiors and touch up paint on exteriors
• Replace broken floor, wall, or ceiling tiles
• Grout and regrout tile as needed
• Patch holes in walls
• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures
• Miscellaneous carpentry repairs

Grounds & Seasonal

• Groundskeeping and light landscaping (weeding and bed maintenance)

Rate of Pay

$20 per hour + overtime (5 to 10 hours of overtime available)

Job Type

Full-time (part-time is also an option).
