Job summary

Catalano Management Company, LLC - Dunkin' is seeking a Multi-Unit Maintenance Technician to service stores region-wide. You will perform facilities maintenance, address day-to-day issues, and travel between locations to uphold Dunkin' standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, basic HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a varied schedule including weekends. We offer competitive salary, PTO, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors, co-workers, vendors and sub-contractors.

• 1–3 years of commercial and/or residential property maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting and cosmetic repairs.
• Equipment calibrations, modifications and repairs.
• Check, repair and/or replace valves, motors, controls, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, locks.
• Diagnose and remedy problems, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Preventative maintenance and proper documentation.

Job Summary

Our Maintenance Technicians play a key role in keeping our stores in top condition by addressing day-to-day maintenance issues. Traveling between our locations, managing cosmetic and mechanical repairs, and working to meet the highest standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilities maintenance, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and cosmetic repairs
• Equipment calibrations, modifications and repairs
• Check, repair and/or replace valves, motors, controls, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, locks
• Diagnose and remedy problems, troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Preventative Maintenance on properties and equipment to include proper documentation and tracking
• Work with contracted landscaping vendors to ensure property grounds are maintained
• Maintain spare parts inventory and requisition parts for systems
• Maintain safety standards for our employees and guests; Apply applicable OSHA requirements
• Maintain an open line of communication with Operations Department including District Managers
• Complete work and travel logs daily
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Daily travel within region
• Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must complete a satisfactory background check
• 1-3 years of commercial and/or residential property maintenance experience
• General knowledge of small appliance repair and maintenance
• HVAC, plumbing, basic carpentry and light electrical knowledge (preferred)
• Ability to clearly communicate with supervisors, co-workers, vendors and sub-contractors
• Repeated walking, bending, reaching, climbing, twisting, pushing, pulling and lifting of material/equipment up to 80 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to work a varied schedule, rotating weekends, on-call, occasional holidays
• Basic phone and computer skills
