Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance worker for our Quakertown, PA production plant. You will perform repairs, upkeep, and support for operational needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 50 lbs, four 10-hour days per week, and adherence to 5S and OSHA safety standards. You will participate in 5S audits and assist with various building maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installation and assembly of items.
• Support all 5S activities.
• Maintain area supplies (yarn, tubes, etc).
• Remove yarn and materials after job completion.
• Participate in 5S audits.
• Minor repairs to walls, floors, locks, equipment, etc.
• Check electrical for troubleshooting to identify problems.
• Monitor and enforce OSHA safety measures.
• Indoor/outdoor maintenance in the production plant.
• Support AS9100 quality system documentation and audits.
• Other responsibilities as required.

Job Description

Maintenance - Maintenance is responsible for making needed repairs to the facility or other duties to help provide support for operational or production needs. They are responsible for the upkeep and working order in all areas of the facility

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Tasks and Work Activities

• Installation and assembly of items
• Support all 5S activities
• All supplied are maintained for the area, including yarn, tubes, etc
• Remove all yarn, etc, when the job is complete
• Participate in 5S audits
• Minor repairs and fixes to walls, floors, locks, equipment, etc.
• Check electrical for troubleshooting to identify potential problems
• Monitor and enforce safety measures per OSHA standards
• Indoor/Outdoor maintenance of any items needing repair or upkeep
• Support and provide input to the AS9100 quality system through document development and revisions and support audits both internal and external
• Other responsibilities as required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Indoors – This position is located in the production plant.
• The typical work day is a primarily working in the production plant
• Employee must be able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Duration of a Typical Work Week – This position is a four(4) day work week consisting of (10) hours per day.
