Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs for hotel equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, elevators).
- Maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in excellent condition.
- Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance; document inspections and certifications.
- Monitor energy use and implement efficiency initiatives.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, F&B, and external contractors for repairs.

- Oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs for hotel equipment, systems, and infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and elevators).
- Perform or supervise preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.
- Ensure all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, are in excellent condition.
- Maintain compliance with brand standards for property upkeep and appearance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including fire safety and building codes.
- Perform regular safety inspections and maintain records of certifications and inspections.
- Monitor and manage energy consumption to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices.
- Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage teams to address maintenance needs promptly and support guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or large‑scale projects.

- Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as elevators and fire safety equipment.
- Skills in developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules for long‑term efficiency.
- Ability to diagnose and repair issues promptly across a variety of hotel systems
- Understanding energy‑efficient practices and systems to reduce costs and improve sustainability.
- Certifications like HVAC Technician, Electrician License, or OSHA safety training are preferred.
- Awareness of how maintenance activities can impact guests and taking measures to minimize disruptions.
