Job summary

Stones Gambling Hall in Citrus Heights, CA is seeking a maintenance professional to ensure the building, equipment and facilities are safe and in proper working order in line with the casino's mission and core values.

You will follow company policies, observe structures and equipment, report malfunctions to the Facilities Manager, assist daily tasks, set up events, and stay compliant with safety standards, including annual BSA/AML training and gaming license requirements.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general construction required.
• Language: English written and spoken fluency.
• Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• All duties follow Company Policies & Procedures, OSHA standards, and legal regulations.
• Observe Casino and Admin building structures, equipment, and facilities.
• Report malfunctions or needed repairs to Facilities Manager immediately.
• Perform maintenance work as instructed by Facilities Manager with safety and quality in mind.
• With Facilities Manager approval, assist departments with daily tasks and cleaning.
• Set up and break down equipment for on-site and off-site events as directed.
• Report unsafe practices or hazardous conditions to CSM, Facilities Manager or General Manager.
• Attend annual BSA/AML training as scheduled.
• Report to CSM or Security any underage or intoxicated individuals or any threats.

Maintenance Primary Function

To ensure and maintain that the building, equipment, machinery and other facilities are safe and in proper working order in alignment with the mission and core values of Stones Gambling Hall.

Essential Responsibilities

• All job duties are to be performed in accordance with Company Policies & Procedures, OSHA standards and other legal regulations and requirements.
• Observe both the Casino and Admin building’s structures, equipment and facilities.
• Report any malfunctions or observations of needed repairs to Facilities Manager immediately.
• Perform any maintenance work as instructed by Facilities Manager in accordance with quality and safety as set forth by the Company and commonly practiced industry standards.
• With Facilities Manager approval, aid and assist departments with daily tasks such as taking out trash, clean buildings and surrounding areas.
• Set up and break down equipment at off and on-site events as directed.
• Report unsafe practices or hazardous conditions to the CSM, Facilities Manager or General Manager.
• Attend annual BSA/AML training, as scheduled.
• Report to CSM or Security any individuals in the casino who appear to be underage, intoxicated, whose conduct appears to be illegal, or who poses a threat to the Company's operations.

• Language Skills: Ability to converse, read, and write in English is required; ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, ability to write detailed reports and correspondence; ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one setting and small group situations to local government officials, guests, vendors, and team members.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills. Ability to accurately calculate addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in an efficient manner
• Reasoning Ability: The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Conditions of Employment

• Ability to obtain a Gaming License from the City of Citrus Heights
• Must be able to renew and maintain an active Gaming License according to the city’s requirements
