Job summary

Syensqo is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain electrical systems and instrumentation at our Augusta, GA production facility. The role focuses on peak efficiency, repair projects, and teamwork to improve processes.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to document maintenance activities. This is a full-time on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience with electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Certification in E&I craft trade preferred.
• Ability to perform standard industrial maintenance tasks.
• Experience inspecting and troubleshooting electrical systems and instruments.

Role and Responsibilities

The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician plays a pivotal part in maintaining the electrical systems within our production facility. There is also a heavy focus on maintaining the instruments used to conduct our business day to day. Core goals will be to maintain all electrical systems along with instruments at peak efficiency, conducting successful repair projects when necessary, and working on a team to improve processes.

Experience and Skills

• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance


• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems


• Inspect and troubleshoot instruments throughout production facility


• Assist craft maintenance team with various tasks


• Review maintenance work orders and action accordingly


• Enter information into computer systems when necessary


• Other duties as assigned


• Certification in E&I craft trade preferred


• High school diploma or equivalent required


• 5+ years of technical experience with electrical and instrumentation systems


• Ability to conduct standard industrial maintenance tasks

• Competitive salary and benefits package


• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $40.60to $47.96 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
