Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform general facility upkeep at healthcare locations. The role includes carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting, plumbing, light bulb replacement, lubrication, and routine machine maintenance.

Responsibilities also include assisting security, visitor control duties, enforcing visitor rules, and adhering to the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct. Travel between facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in facility maintenance.
• Assists Security Officers when necessary.
• Provides visitor control functions when requested.
• Reminds public of visitor rules when an obvious infraction occurs.
• Must adhere to the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct and report issues to Compliance Officer.
• Willing to travel between facilities if needed.

5. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

Education / Licensure

1. High School diploma, GED or Higher Education with technical or trade courses preferred.
2. Must be willing and able to travel as needed between facilities.
3. Facility Maintenance Certification preferred.
