Job summary

Richman Property Services, Inc. is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for our Lincoln Village community in Oroville, CA. Responsibilities include daily repair work, preparing vacant units, responding to service requests, and maintaining safety standards and curb appeal.

The role requires at least two years of maintenance experience in a residential setting, familiarity with EPA regulations, and proficiency with Yardi software. On-call duties and occasional overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of maintenance experience in a residential community environment Preferred.
• EPA I & II or EPA Universal
• Experience with Yardi property management software products
• On call rotation

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
• Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
• Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
• Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
• Seeking educational opportunities for personal growth and development
• Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
• Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds

Requirements

• Education:
  • High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
• Experience:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Skills & Certifications:
  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
