Job summary

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Superintendent to join our Bayville, NJ community.

This role requires overseeing daily maintenance, coordinating repairs, and preparing vacant units for occupancy while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The position offers a live-on exempt unit with rent-free housing, on-call duties, and a competitive benefits package including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical school or related courses preferred.
• 4+ years in maintenance or related field; supervisory experience preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license preferred; CPO license for pool properties.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in English for communication and records; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
• Execute daily repair and upkeep tasks.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within deadlines.
• Manage service requests with responsive, courteous customer service.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Report property-related incidents and uphold professionalism.

Bayville Housing. Our 96 unit Residential community. Located in Bayville, NJ.

Key Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license Prefferd
• Live on Exempt unit (Rent free)
• On Call required

• Knowledge of various maintenance areas
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid Drivers License
• Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
