Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on site for night-shift operations, ensuring equipment reliability. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, inspect equipment, and assist with installation and alignment of components.

The role requires adherence to safety procedures, accurate documentation, and strong teamwork.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to ensure equipment reliability during night-shift operations

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
