Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is hiring a Maintenance Electrician 2 to perform advanced electrical maintenance on aggregate processing equipment, including crushers and conveyors. You will troubleshoot electrical, control, and instrumentation issues to maximize uptime and efficiency.

The role requires reading schematics, using testing tools, and complying with safety standards in a fast-paced plant environment across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical maintenance and repairs on aggregate processing equipment, including crushers, conveyors, screens, and plant systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, control, and instrumentation issues to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
• Install, inspect, test, and maintain motors, electrical panels, wiring, and related components.
• Complete preventive maintenance activities and recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to support safe, continuous production.

What You'll Be Doing

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
