Accenture Flex is hiring a Mainframe Engineer to support the modernization of a core banking platform from FIS Systematics to a cloud-native architecture. You will analyze current state systems, map legacy data and applications, and collaborate with cloud data and integration teams over a multi-year coexistence period.

The role requires hands-on mainframe skills, experience with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS, and the ability to translate legacy constructs into cloud-ready designs while documenting

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on mainframe experience with COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICS.
• Experience with legacy system analysis and system-to-system mapping.
• Strong writing and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document current state Systematics architecture and data flows.
• Map legacy data structures to Oracle cloud core banking components.
• Support migration strategy and generate migration artifacts.
