Job summary

Soteria Reinsurance Ltd. is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support our Workplace Investing Systems, based in Durham, NC, with an option to hire in Westlake, TX. The role requires COBOL, DB2/VSAM, JCL, APIs, and Python expertise in a mainframe environment.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable stories, mentor colleagues, and drive timely delivery of customer-focused solutions across geographies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Systems Analyst experience in software solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Jira for Scrum.
• Experience writing solution requirements, user stories, and specs.
• Mainframe development experience using COBOL.
• Knowledge of DB2, JCL, VSAM.
• Knowledge of SAS, Linux, and DB2 applications.
• Experience working with APIs.
• Python programming experience.
• Exposure to Java and Angular is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL, File-Aid, SPUFI, and Platinum.
• Retirement Services domain knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
