Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a Mainframe Operations Specialist to monitor daily batch jobs and online transactions, analyze and resolve production incidents, and support on-call deployments. You will handle job restarts, abends, and RCA reporting while coordinating with infrastructure, application, and business teams to ensure smooth production runs.

Candidates should be proficient in IBM z/OS, JCL, COBOL, CICS, RACF, and familiar with CA7/Control-M scheduling; experience with monitoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS components and mainframe subsystems.
• Experience with batch scheduling, job control, and operator tools.
• Proficient in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and RACF security concepts.
• Familiar with DB2 and SQL within mainframe environments.
• Ability to analyze production incidents and perform RCA.
