Job summary

IPolarity is seeking an experienced Mainframe NetView Engineer to support enterprise IBM z/OS environments through advanced automation and monitoring. You will administer NetView for z/OS, implement automation using REXX/CLIST, and support critical infrastructure monitoring and recovery processes.

The role requires onsite presence in the Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX area three days a week, with willingness to relocate to one of these locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IBM z/OS experience.
• 5+ years administering IBM NetView.
• Proven ability to design event-driven automation and resilient mainframe ops.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IBM NetView for z/OS environments.
• Configure and support NetView automation infrastructure.
• Monitor NetView performance, availability, and operational effectiveness.
• Manage NetView definitions, policies, and operational controls.
• Design and develop automation using REXX, CLIST, and NetView CMDLISTs.
• Develop automated recovery procedures and operational workflows.
• Implement event-driven automation and message automation solutions.
• Support incident resolution and root-cause analysis for infra issues.
