Job summary

Kyndryl Inc. is hiring a Mainframe Network Engineer for a hybrid role in the Phoenix, AZ area. The engineer will design, configure, and support z/OS Communications Server components and ensure secure, reliable connectivity between mainframe systems and distributed platforms.

You will work on VTAM, SNA/EE, TN3270, FTP/SFTP, TLS, and network security controls, with a requirement to be onsite 3 days per week in the Phoenix metro area. Relocation is considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in mainframe networking or z/OS communications support.
• Familiarity with JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP on z/OS, VTAM, SNA/EE, TN3270, FTP/SFTP and TLS.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain z/OS Communications Server components.
• Support and manage TCP/IP configuration on z/OS systems.
• Maintain VTAM definitions and network resources; configure Enterprise Extender and SNA connectivity.
