Job summary

Accenture Flex is hiring for a mainframe liaison lead to support ADMIN, CARMS and CBS apps with CICS, JCL, COBOL, IMS and Db2. You’ll handle L2/L3 production issues, implement changes, and coordinate DR planning while collaborating across business and IT teams.

The role requires 5 years in mainframe tech, strong problem management skills, and on-call availability for US Central hours. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mainframe CICS, Batch, JCL, COBOL, Assembler, MQ, EasyTrieve, IMS, and Db2 development and support in a regulated production environment.
• Minimum 5 years programming in REXX.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in production support, incident management, service requests, and deployment processes.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Ability to support US Central Time business hours with on-call support as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide mainframe application support for ADMIN, CARMS and CBS using CICS, Batch, JCL, COBOL, Assembler, MQ, EasyTrieve, IMS, and Db2, including L2/L3 break-fix and production issue resolution.
• Perform application enhancements based on business requirements and approved change requests.
• Fulfill service requests related to application functionality, data, reports, and operational support.
• Execute problem management activities as part of L3 support, including root cause analysis and permanent resolution.
• Assist with BRDs, third-party software coordination, and disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Daily system integrity verification, cash feed reconciliation, and interface feed checks.
• Execute production code deployments with segregation of duties and controls.
• Manage report distribution and support ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, infrastructure, and vendors.
