Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced mainframe liaison lead to manage development, maintenance, and support of ADMIN and CARMS applications using CICS, Batch, JCL, COBOL and Db2. The role provides L2/L3 production support, break-fix resolution, and operational oversight in a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Accenture’s modernization practice, contributing to transformation initiatives and ensuring stability and compliance across business processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mainframe CICS, Batch, JCL, COBOL, Assembler, MQ, EasyTrieve, IMS, and Db2 development and support.
• Minimum 5 years programming language proficiency in: REXX.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in production support, incident management, service requests, and deployments.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Ability to support the client during U.S. Central Time business hours with on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Provide mainframe application support for ADMIN, CARMS and CBS, including L2/L3 break-fix and production issue resolution.
• Perform application enhancements based on business requirements and approved change requests.
• Fulfill service requests related to application functionality, data, reports, and operational support.
• Execute problem management activities as part of L3 support, including root cause analysis.
• Assist with BRDs, third-party software coordination, and disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Perform daily system integrity verification, cash feed reconciliation, and interface feed checks.
• Execute production code deployments while ensuring segregation of duties and compliance controls.
• Manage report distribution and support ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
