Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with mainframe technologies and modernization.
• Experience migrating to Java/Python and migrating VSAM data to relational databases.
• Familiarity with IBM MQ/MQ Series and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the existing mainframe codebase, workflows, and dependencies.
• Support component-by-component migration to Java/Python and relational DB migration.
• Contribute to BAU and modernization scrums; assist onboarding and process changes.
• Support POCs involving file access, concurrency, and relational DB patterns.
• Provide U.S. time zone coverage, including ET overlap and issue triage.
