Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking a skilled software developer in Lincoln, NE. The role focuses on COBOL and CICS development with strong JCL and DB2 SQL experience.

You will contribute to full-stack tasks and legacy maintenance while following department standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or technical CS degree with at least 5 years of development work, excellent troubleshooting, and clear communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or technical CS degree, or equivalent with 5+ years development experience.
• Experience in COBOL and CICS development.
• Strong SQL experience using DB2; QMF queries and table creation.
• Experience with JCL and job scheduling.
• Agile/SCRUM experience is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and follow standards and processes.
• Excellent communication and reliability.

Responsabilidades

• Explore and gain a thorough understanding of the business.
• Troubleshoot problems and provide support on existing products and services.
• Work as part of a software development team in project implementation.
• Perform daily tasks of analysis, programming and testing as needed.
• Assist with capturing business requirements, design, system architecture and development.
• Maintain legacy applications in COBOL, COBOL/CICS that interact with IS.
• Must have recent COBOL and CICS development experience; JCL and scheduling knowledge.
