Job description

Location: Two Destiny Way, Westlake, Texas

experience target 5+years

• Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing mainframe application development, test automation, and support, using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ-Series, Java, Web Services, and SQL.
• Experience in the development and deployment of Batch and CICS applications
• DE performing mainframe application development -- file format and comparison -- using File-aid; performing version management using Endeavor; debugging and unit testing, using Intertest and Abend-Aid; and scheduling jobs using Control-M.
• DE analyzing and crafting data flows for mainframe application development.
• DE performing mainframe application development and performance tuning within TSO and MVS operating system environments; developing applications, using Endevor, Git, ClearCase (for version control), Control-M (for scheduling), Abend-AID and Intertest (for debugging), File-Aid (for browsing), and Easytrieve (for report generation); and conducting performance tuning and capacity planning -- reducing I/Os, CPU Time, MSUs, and MIPs -- using Strobe, iStrobe, Platinum Detector, and TMON.

Required skills:

5+ years Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing mainframe application development, test automation, and support, using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, SYNC SORT, MQ-Series. Mainly Strong Mainframe experience.
