Job summary

SplashBI is seeking an experienced Mainframe / DB2 Developer for a remote position with minimal onsite as needed. You will work on COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and web services in a Mainframe environment, delivering robust batch and online solutions.

The contract is 6+ months with extensions; start ASAP. Must be proficient in COBOL, JCL, CICS, TSO, VSAM, and SQL, and comfortable working across multiple languages and DBMS. Remote work allowed from US.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing COBOL applications and Web Services in a Mainframe environment.
• Knowledge of IBM DB2, COBOL, CICS, JCL.
• Knowledge in multiple programming languages, multiple database management systems, and multiple development platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL applications and Mainframe batch jobs.
• Design and implement DB2 database relations and stored procedures.
• Work with CICS, JCL and TSO to build reliable online and batch processing.
• Collaborate with teams across platforms to ensure cross-system integration.
