Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Sr. Cobol Developer with SAS for on-site work in Cincinnati. The role requires 8+ years of experience in COBOL/CICS, SAS, and mainframe platforms, including IBM MVS Z/OS and JCL. Familiarity with AmTrust and wealth management is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a solid grasp of software development methodologies, with Git/GitHub experience and a background in mainframe engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems or comparable with 8+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of TSO and Mainframe technology.
• Experience with COBOL, CICS, SAS and MQ.
• Experience with AmTrust accounting system.
• Background in Wealth and Asset Management preferred.
• Knowledge of functional software design.
• Knowledge of software development best practices.
• Prior experience with knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of Software Development Methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
