Qualifications

• Experience developing mainframe applications using COBOL.
• IBM z/OS knowledge and mainframe environment experience.
• Foundational knowledge of IMS DB/DC, CICS, VSAM, IMS, DB2, and MQ Series.
• Familiarity with SDLC practices, testing methodologies, and change management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications supporting card management and payment processing.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe components across transaction processing, reconciliation, settlement, compliance, and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test evidence, and change records for audits.
• Support production and regulatory compliance efforts.
