Job summary

Concord Coach Lines seeks a Regional Manager for Maine, based at the Portland Transportation Center. On-site, full-time leadership role overseeing Maine operations with frequent travel within ME and NH. Reports to the Director of Corporate Operations.

The role requires a 4-year degree, hands-on operations experience, and strong leadership and communication skills. Expect to manage staff, schedules, and service quality across multiple terminals in ME.

Qualifications

• 4-year College Degree required; business focus preferred.
• Hands-on, operational management experience required. Hospitality, transportation or like industry experience a plus.
• Superior leadership and communications skills.
• Computer proficiency is a must with the ability to learn industry specific platforms. Working knowledge of Excel and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Foster a supportive and proactive environment for staff. Manage staffing needs, recruitment, training, retention and management of all personnel in Maine, in consultation with Concord managers.
• Ensure superior customer experience through execution of details: clean facilities, on-time trips, friendly staff; eye for detail.
• Work with Concord operations and local staff to optimize schedules and ensure coverage.
• Oversee capital maintenance planning and day-to-day operating expenses in Maine; coordinate with vendors.
• Analyze workflows to identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Marketing to promote services in Maine.
• Address elevated customer complaints to resolution.
• Participate in strategic planning with VP-level staff across the company.
• Oversee Maine operations in Bangor, Augusta, Portland and coastal sites, including terminal and staff oversight.
• Maintain external relationships and represent Concord Coach Lines in the community.
