This hands-on role supports surgeons, nurses, and technicians, ensuring rooms are prepared, clean, and ready for each case.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0 years of experience (1 year preferred).
• Licensure: BLS within 2 months of hire; CNA or EMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down operating rooms to ensure readiness for each surgical case.
• Clean and disinfect OR surfaces and equipment following infection control standards.
• Sort and dispose of contaminated materials per hospital guidelines.
• Transport patients to and from Surgery while providing comfort and observing safety needs (Main OR only).
• Stock supplies, maintain equipment, and support efficient room turnover.
• Work cooperatively with the surgical team in a high-acuity, timesensitive environment.
