Job summary

PENN Entertainment, Inc. is hiring for a kitchen role at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa. The candidate will learn all room outlets, read orders, and prepare items to standard recipes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Learn and become familiar with Ameristar Casino Resort and Spa outlets and answer general questions about the property.
Read food orders, prep items according to established menu plans.
Prepare all items per standard recipes to ensure consistency.
Wash, slice, peel, and cut foods for cooking or serving.
Monitor cooking through testing (taste, smell, piercing).
Ensure procedures meet health standards and guidelines.
Coordinate orders with dining room staff and communicate clearly.
Complete prep items as written on prep sheets and maintain equipment cleanliness.
Attend training programs and perform side duties as assigned.
Operate within SOPs to ensure quality and standard compliance.
