Job summary

ESFM, the facilities management division of Compass Group USA, is hiring for a full-time Mailroom Clerk in Houston. The role operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, handling courier items, USPS mail, and interoffice deliveries while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

You will verify shipments, track items, manage packaging and labeling, and coordinate bulk mail movements, requiring at least two years of mailroom and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Mail Clerk and Customer Service experience required.
• Experience handling courier items and USPS mail preferred.
• Ability to verify shipments and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Receives, sorts, delivers, picks up and processes courier items, interoffice mail, magazines and USPS mail.
• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Tracks courier and accountable items (FedEx, UPS, Certified Mail, etc.).
• Packages, marks, labels and processes non-hazardous and hazardous materials by using courier software (FedEx, UPS, DHL).
• Researches and routes unidentified and generic mail.
• Coordinates, stages, and transports bulk mail items.
• Receives, logs, delivers and tracks messenger items.
