Responsibilities

  • Performs day-to-day activities of the Mailroom, including inventory and shipping of samples and business supplies.
  • Processes mail and shipping of packages as needed, including patient documentation or communication.
  • Ensures inbound mail is picked up daily and distributed or scanned to the correct department.
  • Sends marketing requests, wound samples, and other packages from the mailroom.
  • Mails out letters and medical documentation as requested.
  • Maintains inventory levels of breakroom and office supplies.

Salary Range: $15.00 To $17.00 Hourly

JOBSUMMARY


Performs day-to-day activities of the company's Mailroom, including but not limited to managing the inventory and shipping of samples and business supplies, processing mail, shipping/mailing of packages as needed, including Sales and Marketing collateral and time-sensitive patient documentation or communication.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Ensures all inbound mail is picked up daily from the post office, opened, date stamped and distributed or scanned to the correct department.

  • Responsible for sending all marketing requests, wound samples, and any other packages that need to be sent from our mailroom.

  • Mails out NCL's, medical documentation, transition letters, and all other mailings requested.

  • Ensure outgoing mail has correct postage and is dropped off at the post office prior to USPS daily mail sort.

  • Prepares shipment or pickup of equipment sent to employees.

  • Responsible for maintaining inventory levels of breakroom and office supplies.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned, which may vary at any time with or without notice.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE



  • High School Diploma and/or GEDrequired.

  • Six (6) months or more of related experiencepreferred.


COMPETENCIES



  • Demonstrates knowledge of Mail Management Systems and U.S. Postal regulations.

  • Self-sufficient, self-starter able to prioritize and multi-task; capable of effectively managing multiple projects with conflicting deadlines along with a sense of urgency.

  • Able to perform basic mathematical computations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Demonstrates sense of accountability with proven aptitude to identify and offer solutions to improve functionality and enhance the customer’s experience.

  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Lift up to 50lbs and ability to use a hand truck for mail totes and heavy packages.

  • Transportation required to take and collect mail from the Post Office daily.
