Job summary

InfoSend, Inc. is seeking a proactive Mail Inserter Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair mail inserting machines and related equipment for smooth operations. The role supports timely delivery and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires repairing and servicing Bell & Howell, Pitney Bowes, Rival, and MPS systems, with flexibility for shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience running or repairing mailing equipment.
• 3 years’ experience working in a transactional mail environment.
• Knowledge of Bell & Howell and Pitney Bowes machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to perform mechanical adjustments/repairs on mailing equipment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform repair work on Bell & Howell, Pitney Bowes, Rival, and MPS machines, MBO folders, and other mailing equipment.
• Manage inventory and order parts when manager is off-site.
• Provide backup support as a Mail Operator during peak periods.
• Support parts inventory management and customer service calls.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mailing equipment to keep it in optimal condition.
• Schedule and perform inspections on equipment including third-party gear.
• Support other areas of the mailing department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
