Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and at least three years of work experience.
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• General knowledge of federal statutes.
• Proficiency in researching on the internet and public databases.
• Ability to assist in investigative analysis and final work-product preparation.

Responsibilities

• Mail Receptacle security: notify USPS stakeholders, coordinate upgrades or replacements, manage keys/locks.
• Mail theft reporting and analysis: review crime reports, identify risk areas, designate upgrades.
• Triage of recovered mail: identify evidentiary mail, contact customers, coordinate retention authorization.
• Processing of Mail Theft Case evidence: photocopying, data entry, disposition.
• Victim Entry Services (VES): coordinate mailings and surveys, maintain spreadsheets.
