Job summary

KACE is seeking a Mail Theft Triage and Maintenance Support Analyst in Portland, OR to augment our Analytics division. The role supports volume attack mail theft investigations by coordinating repairs, security upgrades, and evidence handling, ensuring timely actions across USPS maintenance and related partners.

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree with at least three years of experience, excel in organizing information, communicating findings, and applying federal statutes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least three years of work experience.
• Ability to organize information and communicate results effectively.
• General knowledge of federal statutes.
• Proficiency in researching internet and public databases.
• Ability to assist in analysis and development of civil/criminal cases.

Responsibilities

• Notify USPS stakeholders of mail receptacle break-ins and coordinate upgrades.
• Monitor repair/replacement timelines and verify work completed as planned.
• Triage recovered mail and document return to customers; communicate with customers by email/letter.
• Process mail theft case evidence including photocopying and data entry.
• Coordinate Victim Notification Mailings and related surveys and spreadsheets.
