Job summary

KACE in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Mail Theft Triage and Maintenance Support Analyst in the Analytics division. The analyst will augment staff to ensure mail receptacles are repaired or secured, coordinate with USPS, triage recovered mail, process evidence, and support Victim Notification activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience, strong written and verbal communication, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of work experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• General knowledge of federal statutes.
• Ability to conduct internet and public/database research.
• Ability to analyze investigative results and present recommendations.
• Assist in civil/criminal case development for prosecution.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
• Knowledge of USPS Mail Theft Investigations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide task-specific support for mail theft investigations and maintenance.
• Coordinate with USPS and stakeholders to upgrade mail receptacles and security features.
• Triage recovered mail, document evidence, and support Victim Notification.
• Process mail theft case evidence (photocopying, data entry, disposition).
• Coordinate Victim Notification mailings and surveys; maintain related spreadsheets.
• Support other administrative duties as assigned.
