The position requires minimal supervision and daily interaction with customers, managers, and vendors to achieve business objectives. Richmond, VA location with five days onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
• 1+ year of customer service or operations experience.
• 1+ year of specialized experience preferred.
• Familiarity with USPS and commercial carrier processes (UPS, FedEx, DHL) preferred.
• Experience with mailroom equipment (e.g., postage meters, envelope openers, barcode scanners) preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn new software applications quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all mail and shipping related services and activities.
• Pick up and deliver customer packages and mail onsite.
• Operate and maintain a mail processing machine.
• Provide customer service by explaining shipping methods and rates.
• Log receipt and release of packages using tracking systems.
• Handle equipment like pallet jacks and copiers; perform basic maintenance.
• Assist with fulfillment tasks such as furniture or conference room setup.
• Address internal inquiries and perform light filing and housekeeping.
