Job summary

RRD is seeking a production operator in Utah to run mailing equipment, weigh and tie bundles of magazines, catalogs, and pamphlets according to zip codes.

You will review manufacturing instructions, adjust guides and components, record production data, and ship outgoing parcels with major carriers. Shift is A: Tue–Fri 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; pay ranges from $15.31 to $16.06 per hour with overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Familiar with routine operating procedures of equipment
• Capable of performing minor clerical tasks related to equipment operation
• Ability to identify improper machine operation and make basic adjustments

Responsibilities

• Records production according to customer name and zip code, and machine down time due to malfunctions or lack of work.
• Processes and ships outgoing small package parcels such as UPS, Federal Express, and DHL.

• Operate machines that automatically addresses, weighs, and ties into bundles printed publications, such as magazines, catalogs, and pamphlets, for mailing according to zip code.

Qualifications

• Requires familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment which can be set up and operated following a few step by step instructions and the skill to operate the equipment
• Requires skill to perform minor clerical tasks incidental to the operation of the equipment (e.g., maintain machine operating and maintenance records, write new identification labels for computer tapes, etc.), and skill to perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating the equipment
• Ability to identify if improper machine operation and make basic adjustments

Additional Information

A Shift - Tuesday-Friday 7AM-5PM

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $15.31 - $16.06 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
