U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) is seeking an Official Mail Manager for HQ INSCOM to develop and implement command-wide mail policies in line with USPS, DoD, and Army requirements.

The role includes COR duties for meter rental and USPS postage contracts, and leadership of the mail program's security and efficiency. You will oversee postal equipment, financial resources, and provide guidance to personnel, ensuring regulatory compliance and cost-effective operations across

Competenze

• Experience applying established postal regulations and security procedures.
• Experience tracking postal expenditures and maintaining accountability for funds.
• Experience operating postage equipment and related postal devices.

Mansioni

• Serves as Official Mail Manager for HQ INSCOM and develops mail policies.
• Acts as COR for mail meter rental and USPS postage contracts.
• Oversees postal equipment usage including metering and X-ray machines.
• Manages official mail program finances and cost controls.
• Maintains and safeguards postal equipment hand receipts.
• Evaluates operations and recommends improvements for compliance.
• Provides guidance and training on mail procedures to HQ INSCOM staff.
• Coordinates mail security with COOP and anti-terrorism teams.
• Operates government vehicle for daily mail runs and deliveries.
• Loads/unloads mail up to 70 pounds; completes trip tickets and inspections.
