Job summary

Adecco Staffing in Portland, ME is hiring Mail Processors for temp-to-hire roles with weekly pay. You will operate high-speed printing and mail-inserting equipment, set up jobs, load materials, monitor output, and prepare mail for shipment.

Candidates should have basic English literacy, data entry and math skills, and a strong attention to quality. Prior machine operation or mailing experience is a plus; on-site shifts include 2nd and 3rd with competitive hourly pay.

Location:Portland, ME

Schedule & Pay

• 2nd Shift:Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM | $21/hour
• 3rd Shift:Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM–4:30 AM | $22/hour

What You'll Do

• Operate high-speed printing and mail-inserting equipment
• Set up machines according to job specifications and production schedules
• Load paper, envelopes and other materials into equipment
• Monitor machine performance and production output
• Clear minor jams and assist with basic machine troubleshooting
• Complete production logs and required paperwork

Requirements

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Printing, mailing or equipment operation experience is a plus
• Ability to read and write in English
• Basic computer, data entry and math skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and production specifications

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
