Job summary

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. seeks a Courier I to perform mail operations for PSC and DHHS components. You will sort, distribute mail, operate mail handling equipment, and utilize a government vehicle to deliver mail across offices.

Duties include routing; processing special mail services; and maintaining mail records and logs. The role requires a High School Diploma/GED, ability to obtain required clearances, and a valid REAL ID driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with the Post Office, FedEx and UPS/delivery services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects customer mail from the local Post Office using a government provided vehicle.
• Unloads and prepares incoming mail for delivery to destination offices, sorting by buildings, floors, and mail stop points.
• Maintains an up-to-date list of office locations by floor and office symbol.
• Reads and routes improperly addressed mail.
• Reroutes and prepares outgoing interoffice mail, using Government-provided transportation.
• Handles certified, registered, insured, special delivery, Express mail, and courier shipments per USPS regulations.
• Maintains accurate mail records for postage payments and vehicle logs.
• Represents the service professionally and maintains ethical conduct.
