Job summary

Moore in Topeka, KS is seeking a Cutter to support production by operating multiple machines to cut mail according to client requirements. You will ensure accuracy, maintain machine flow, and keep the work environment clean and organized.

You'll follow safety guidelines, handle coins and cards workflow, and assist other departments as needed. The role requires a high school diploma, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating production or mail-cutting machinery preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in per-piece handling.

Responsibilities

• Cut mail on machines according to client needs.
• Operators running Tri cutters are expected to run two machines.
• Check envelopes to ensure they are opened on three sides.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Clean machines at the end of each shift.
• Empty machine trash and coins daily.
• Perform basic machine maintenance or report repairs needed.
• Communicate problems to the assistant manager.
• Keep machines running consistently.
• Track clerical time when working on cards or coins.
• Assist other departments when needed.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Account Manager.
• Work overtime, including Saturdays, during mail fluctuations.
