Job summary

Moore in Topeka, Kansas is seeking an Envelope Machine Adjuster to ensure the smooth operation of the production shift. You will set up and operate large machinery, perform size changes, organize workflow, inspect products for accuracy, and complete required paperwork.

This full-time role requires 3–5 years of experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift heavy weights. Shift is 12 hours on-site with a pay range of $19.00-$36.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Capability to operate and adjust large production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate envelope machinery to meet production orders.
• Adjust machines to specified sizes and tolerances.
• Review tickets to determine tools and materials needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Complete required paperwork and communicate issues to the supervisor.

JobSummary:

TheEnvelopeMachineAdjusterensuresthesmoothoperationoftheproductionshiftbysettingupandoperatinglargemachinery,performingsizechanges,organizingworkflow,inspectingproductforaccuracy,completingrequiredpaperwork,andexecutingotherdutiesasassignedbytheEnvelopeManager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Setupandadjustmachineandequipmentforsafeandefficientoperationintheproductionprocesstomeetworkorderspecifications.Thisincludesthestart-up,operation,andadjustmenttoproperparametersinvolvingclosetolerances,maintenance,troubleshooting,andcleaningofequipment.
• Reviewsjobticketstodeterminetools,partsandmaterialsnecessaryformachinechangesand/oradjustments.
• Performsbothstandardandspecialmachineadjustmentstomeetjobspecifications.
• Troubleshootsproblems,repairs/replacesdamagedandwornmachinecomponents.
• Examines,tests,andmeasuresofproductfromassignedequipment.
• Analyzesmechanicalissuesonassignedequipmentandtakescorrectiveaction.

• Minimizeswastebyensuringthatallwasteisproperlysegregated,weighed,recorded,andplacedintheproperwastecontainer.
• Providescoverageformachineoperatorsifnecessary.
