Bobby Dodd Institute (BDI) seeks a mailroom professional to manage mail production, distribution, and administrative duties per program guidelines and timeframes.

This position is on a federal contract that requires that most of the work hours are performed by employees with disabilities. Due to program requirements, this particular position must be filled by a person with a disability
paperwork and initiated by the driver. Assists in placing all mail on the scanner and moving it to the sorting tables.

Preferred knowledge of U.S. Postal regulations in the process of dealing with incoming, outgoing, certified, registered & express mail.

Must be able to pass a Federal background check
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office software
Must have basic typing skills
Ability to understand and follow written guidelines and oral instructions
Able to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
MS Office, mailroom computer software, fax, office equipment and postage metering machines
Must be able to travel as needed
Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry, and move items up to 35 pounds at times
Must be able to stand, reach and walk for long periods of time
