NW Works is seeking a Mailroom Supervisor to oversee daily mail operations, staff supervision, and production quality for mail handling and distribution under established guidelines. This role requires coordination of workflow, training, and safety compliance while maintaining essential records.
You will also handle security inspections, receipts, routing, and coverage during peak periods, with attention to quality and timeliness in a demanding environment.
The Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision and coordination of mailroom operations, ensuring that all mail production, processing, security, and distribution activities are completed accurately, safely, and within established guidelines and timeframes.
The Mailroom Supervisor provides direct oversight, training, and support to Mail Clerks and other assigned staff; coordinates workflow and assignments; monitors productivity and quality; ensures compliance with applicable contract requirements and NW Works policies and procedures; and serves as the primary point of contact for mailroom operations. This position is also responsible for performing mailroom duties as needed to maintain workflow, meet customer requirements, and provide coverage during staffing shortages or periods of increased workload.

·High School Diploma or GED required.
·1 year of experience in related field; preferred experience working in a mail center.
·Must be able to work on routine and repetitive tasks for long periods with minimum supervision. Must be able to stand, reach, and walk for long periods of time
·Ability to make minor decisions regarding mail issues/questions
·Must meet lifting requirements for contract
·At times job will require transporting mail through inclement weather in-between buildings.
