Performs a wide range of mailroom duties that help ensure the efficient operation of the Mailroom. Duties include, but are not limited to, metering all outgoing mail and sorting and delivering all incoming mail. Identify the patient and employee delivery addresses with the aid of Meditech and JHED.
Work requires a high school level of education and up to 1 year of basic technical training in office automation, plus 1 year of previous experience.
No certification, registration, or licensure required. Must provide and maintain a valid Maryland driver's license.
Work requires analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations where the information or problems are relatively routine.
Work requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters, schedule appointments, greet visitors, explain medical center policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. This type of interaction requires courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors, and/or medical center employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate.
Minimum 16.25/hour - Maximum 26.77/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
