Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC is seeking an experienced registered nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.

The RN will supervise care, delegate tasks, act as team leader, monitor the care environment, and support ongoing professional development. NC RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Must have current NC RN licensure; BLS required.
• Twelve months of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care per orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed care providers.
• Act as team leader/charge nurse for a group of patients or unit.
• Monitor and initiate corrective actions to maintain the environment of care.
