Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program with NC RN licensure.
• Twelve months of clinical nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required; pre-employment physical capacity testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide and document professional nursing care per physician orders and hospital policies.
• Lead a team of nurses and unlicensed staff as charge nurse when assigned.
• Assess patient needs and tailor care plans using the nursing process.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Support quality improvement initiatives on the unit.
